We offer a variety of preventative care services.
With appropriate vet referral we can often help with acute injuries.
Osteopathy can be incredibly helpful for long term issues. Hands on manipulation can be beneficial for our equine friends.
An Equine Osteopath works on both joints and muscles to improve blood flow and regulate nerve supply. This helps to relieve pain, maximise movement and prevent injury. Often when a horse starts to "misbehave", this is an indication of pain or restriction.
An Equine Osteopath can work on a wide range of issues, for example:-
- maintenance care in leisure, sport and competition horses
- remedial, post-op or post-injury treatments
and after vet referral for:
- acute ligament strains
- disc related issues
- joint disease
- neurological conditions
